Defence Security Innovation 2007 is co-organized by Technopole Defence and Security, DRDC Valcartier and POLE Québec Chaudière-Appalaches.

Technopole Defence and Security (TDS) is a business network that seeks to accelerate the adoption of technologies geared to the defence and security sectors. Its mission is to identify, qualify and promote business opportunities in order to bring forward innovative solutions in the defence and security market by creating strategic partnerships between its members, partners and operational users. TDS's members and partners (including leading integrators, innovative small businesses, public and private research centres, universities and other post-secondary institutions, government departments and agencies) form a community of common interest centred on innovative defence and security technologies.

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is an agency of the Canadian Department of National Defence responding to the scientific and technological needs of the Canadian Forces. Its mission is to ensure that the Canadian Forces remain scientifically and operationally relevant. Headquartered in Ottawa, DRDC is made up of seven research centres located across Canada. Covering a broad scientific program, DRDC actively collaborates with industry, international allies, academia, other government departments and the national security community.

POLE Québec Chaudière-Appalaches (QCA) is an economic development agency seeking to catalyze economic development efforts in targeted industries with a view to strengthening the QCA zone's international competitiveness and increasing regional prosperity. Applied technologies, including defence and security applications, are among the targeted sectors.
